I do like naked but then can't lay it face down. Feels like its going to slip out of my hand. The Commuter solves all of this with the added benefit of being able to drop it onto concrete from 10 ft and survive!

the white hardshell looks awesome, but the commuter seems higher quality..
i need to see one in person to see just how much bulk it adds. i hate the defender series
...Otterbox Defender - I did have some problems (like others) w/ some slippage of the outer rubber shell but O'box mailed me a replacement all the way over to the UK, free of charge and no ?'s asked, and just by very carefully slipping / 'snapping' it into place it's been fine ever since. Great customer service, five stars
I'm using the Incipio's OtterBox Commuter case, plus a clear full-body protection. It is what i need to preserve my Bold 9930 for anything!! a total of 30 bucks, to shield my BB? I see it worth it!!!
The Naked BB with the leather cover is also great tho!
My new favorite is the CaseMate POP case in white for the following reasons: just as much protection as an Otterbox believe it or not(but looks way better), still shows off the stainless bezel in the front, matches my PlayBook(Cuz I have the same case for that as well), and almost looks as good as my second favorite case OEM hard shell case.

I prefer no case. The Bold is too beautiful to be covered up. Even though I dropped it twice from about four feet off the ground. It's okay thanks God.
I would to use it naked but blackberries are too fragile!
I switch back and forth between the black soft shell case and the leather pocket pouch. I would love to get back my hard shell case when it goes on sale though! (returned it because I couldn't justify the 29.99 price for a piece of plastic)
wow a lot of recommendations for the commuter series...I gotta check it out
