    Most BlackBerrys can play

    Audio format support: MP3, MIDI, AMR-NB, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, WMA

    Later ones can also play FLAC.

    I am not sure how good MIDI file playback will be since this depends entirely on what's in the phone for voicing.

    For ringtones, MP3 has to be the most widely used format and there are a number of MIDI to MP3 converters around.
