- Actually, from what the other CB user (who I think runs the site) said, it was taken down because of too many complaints from the MPAA. Not too surprising when you run a website that hosts files or links to files that are copyrighted material... especially if you are ripping and converting the stuff yourself. You're just begging for people to turn you in.
If anyone is looking for videos or music for your BB, IMO your best bet is to use Bit Torrent. You have access to almost everything out there and you have a lot more safeguards you can implement to protect yourself. It's probably more of a DIY approach for most here, but nothing good is ever easy.08-29-08 07:37 AMLike 0 - Thats too bad, that was a damn good site. I was looking to finish off the season of weeds. I was woundering if it was copy right infringment.08-30-08 01:45 AMLike 0

Am I at the wrong site? If I'm not, can someone explain where exactly the links/options are in the site to get to these BB videos that are mentioned above?
Thanks!10-28-09 08:00 AMLike 0 - Sorry if I am a little slow, have not seen the term DIY ouside a hardware store. From what I am interpreting from the posts here; DIY equals having to save up for a PC and installing a bunch of conversion software, entailing a lot of extra expense, effort, and equipment outside of a BB. This doesn't sound logical to me, am wondering where I made my mistake in analyzing the info?

You can't download videos using your device, they are much too large. You have to download them with a PC and then transfer them to the memory card in your Blackberry. If you don't have a PC, your only other option is just to go to the mobile youtube site or download one of the youtube apps from app world and watch whatever you can stream from there.10-29-09 08:38 AMLike 0

So when you steal a movie, you're a thief. Now, what do we call people that a assist criminals? We call them accessories to the crime. So, help me steal a movie and you're a criminal. You can get in trouble whether you host the download or pay someone else to host it a la megaupload.
Oh, note that megaupload-esque files can be "ota" as can any file you download from you blackberry. Megaupload itself isnt working at the moment, on my opera mini beta 5 so I wouldn't be able to download big movies from my storm however that does not excuse the person that put the file there for the public. I think liability could even extend to the megaupload site if they were Proven to be complacent in the face of evidence that they were hosting copyrighted materials. Certainly it is true that sites with direct downloads are likely to get shut down faster however it has nothing to do with culpability and everything to do with just how much easier it is to prove guilt.
Now I am in no way attempting to discourage anyone from doing any of this stuff-i myself observe fairly loose ethical boundaries. I just feel it's important you know it's at best morally questionable and at worse downright illegal-depending on where you live, I suppose.
Having said this, I look forward to a site with the functionality of mobile pornhub (running opera beta 5 on storm 5.0(bolt works too)) but with content I can watch a little more comfortably while in public :-)Last edited by mbsill; 12-05-09 at 05:39 AM.

In my defense, I'm a poor college student who definitely can't afford the prices for 'original content' and it doesn't hurt them. They're huge marketing machines anyhow.
Well, porn sites are way ahead of ya, lol. Sad that there isn't a site allowing downloads. Hope one turns up soon.
