I have a video for work that i want to be able to put on my server and send links to people to view it.
I've tried doing this but it says that the file is too large.
I want someone to click on a link and it either brings them to a basic page where they can click something and it opens in the media player kind of how youtube mobile does it.
Youtube uses RTSP for streaming, there are a few choices for the server software. You could try Darwin from Apple Open Source - Server - Streaming Server it's free. It runs on Linux and Windows as well.
