I have a 8310. I have tried downloading a 320X240 pic from the gallery, using wallpaper maker from this site to convert one of my pictures, and even resizing a picture with a PC application. The PC thinks all of these pictures are 320x240 but when I try setting them as the background it display like a widescreen movie. With a wide gap at the top and a narrow gap at the bottom and part of the right side of the picture is off the screen. I am using the default theme and OS version 4.2.2.170 Thanks

Not sure. I just use paint.net and/or Gimp and size them to 640x480 and save to my media card. Browse to them from Media and save as wallpaper.

I like 640 images. To me they look better.

I have tried a 640x480 image and even a 2400x1800. Same results. The image always starts right above the first row of icons.
