I have a blackberry curve 8310 and all of the sudden my wall chargers don't work, i have several of them so i know it's not my chargers. i plug the phone in and the charging light comes on for a few seconds and then goes out. BUT for some reason the car charger still works. any ideas?

Silly question - but have you tried different outlets? Thats kinda crazy that the wall chargers don't work and the car charger does. Good luck!!

Sounds like the start of usb port troubles to me

Have you tried a different charger? USB? Wall Charger? Car Charger?

I had a instance where my wallcharger didn't work and I replaced it and it worked great.

One of the wires in the USB port is probably bent or messed up.

If you have a magnifying glass, you might be able to see if one of the contacts is messed up.

Thank you for the suggestion of a bent wire! Thats all it was, one of the wires was not making contact with my charger.

Me too, I have this issue.

When I look at my USB wires on the phone - what is the configuration of the wires supposed to be?

And what did you use to "bend" the bad one back into correct alignment? A pin isn't working for me, neither is a tweezer.

i was so excited when i found this post, it's the exact question i was about to post!
but when i realized the problem was the phone and not the charger and i could use my old charger again, i remebered i mashed the old one and threw it out trying to fix figure out what was wrong with it. D:
