Ive gone through a lot of converters but they all give me a widescreen video. Very big problem as this leaves half the screen unused and to me thats doing some hardcore injustice to the display, since on the Bold its so nice.

What converter will convert my files to such a format that they actually use up the entire screen?

it really depends on your source video. if its already letterboxed, it may not want to stretch it out. if you want to pay, pqdvd to ipod video converter allows you to actually click on what you want to see on screen. i'm not sure if it supports the bold resolution though. i personally use handbrake. its free, and you can pretty much do just about everything you need to do to the video. it will just take some tweaking.

Hmm....handbrake looks intimidating. But Ill give it a shot. I just want to be able to use the real estate of the screen.
