I was wondering if I bought an aftermarket in dash car stereo that had the USB port on it if I would plug my phone in have it charge and listen to podtrapper.

Here's a better option. Buy a MINI Cooper. Hooks up via USB if you want to play music, plus bluetooth phonecalls work fantastically... and to top if all off, it charges your Bluetooth!
