Does the tour charging pod work with the tour when it has a skin on it??

Probably not-depends on how thick the skin is and if you can bend the pod contacts out far enough to make solid contact without breaking them off.

Probably not. It uses the metal contacts on the back of the phone which would be covered with the skin on. Not sure if the contact is strong enough to charge through the skin ?

Nope... the BB skin anyways will not work with the pod since the back is solid other than the camera opening. There are combos out there that can be used for charging the phone with out removing the case/skin.

the thing is the back is not solid, i got the skin from sprint and it has an opening where the battery door opener and metal contacts are? so i guess my new question is has anyone used a sprint 9630 tour skin in the charging pod??

if ur contacts aren't covered with the skin then yes it should work
