I was hoping that I could use the same one I already had from my Bold.

Unfortunately, RIM moved the charging jack from the left side, upper half of the unit down a couple inches to where the grip blocks the jack.

I looked at other brands and they all seem to grip in the same place. Does anyone else here know of a unit that will grip while charging?

I like the vent mount rather than windshield mount.
