Preloaded media is not included with any of the newest beta releases. You would need to have an early beta release and copy the preloaded media module to the newest version.

Anyone know if it's even possible to send those? It looks as if they are protected files

There is a trick to it, the sample images have to be captured with a screen capture utility. The images can then be saved to the media card and used as wallpaper.

You can't. The preloaded media is a compiled module. They are not separate image files. You could send him the module though. I don't recall the name of it though.

I can't recall the name at the moment either.. I do recall it had 320x240 in it though. The easiest way is to just sort the modules by file size, it'll be extremely obvious which one it is. Extract it from Sprint 4.3.

I have a question about getting the preloaded pictures tooo! I upgraded to 4.5 and backed-up 4.2. Could I just hook my phone up to the desktop manager and explore in 4.2 and try and find them and transfer them to my phone?

It probably won't work. The pictures are marked as locked. I've tried extracting them using the JSR 75 file connection API before. No luck, it just throws an exception because they're locked. What you need to do is extract net_rim_bb_media_320x240_b.cod from a 4.3 update, then use JavaLoader, or jl_cmder to load the module onto your device (I can supply this module to save you the hassle if needed).
