Looking to make some ringtones out of some mp3's I have on my phone. In most cases I want a portion of the song in the middle, so I need a program that can split mp3 files. Most of the searches (google, download.com, etc) bring up programs that have free trials with limitations. Anyone know of a decent program that is free?

Need a program for windows (xp if that makes a difference) or a solution that runs straight from my phone would be nice (Curve 8900). Would be willing to pay for that if its available. Any suggestions?

I use Audacity to make my ring tones, it takes about two minutrs to make one. Find the song you want, import it, select the part of the song you want, then select trim, and you are done.
