My first BB I had, was in a pocket a night at the bar and the screen got all messed up. I hate the case that BB gives you when you get the phone, and I want a nice sleek case for it so I can put it in my pocket or purse, but I am scared that my screen will get messed up again. I was looking at the casemaet hybrid case, anyone try that one out? Any suggestions on keeping yoru screen protected. I like that its protective, but not to bulky.

Otterbox commuter; enough protection without adding the bulk. Also comes with a screen protected.

+1 best case I've used. I love how it fits and the tiny tiny bit of "bulk" it adds is actually nice. I miss the extra bit of plastic on my BB when I remove the case!

I have to agree. I use this case for my bold and my storm. They're great. And they make it stylish hehe. I also like otterbox, but they look very industrial. I have dropped, in total of all my phones, over 3 years with BlackBerry, 2 times. So I like the hybrid. It looks nice

Sometimes when I'm at home or need something very sleek and don't want to scratch the chrome sides, I use an epik case, or a silicone BlackBerry case.

But I second the hybrid. Awesome case. Protects very well. Also keeps dust from getting into the sides of the device

Whatever you do, don't get the innocase 2. Read the numerous threads on this forum about it scratching your phone and the clips breaking. Also their CS seems to be lacking. All my opinion, but check out Otterbox.

I love the holster that comes with the 9700! But I also have a case that I'm not sure of the branding but it is similar to the CaseMate...it doesn't do much for the screen but it has saved my BB from several drops....but from what my friends say the Otterbox cases are superb

Case-Mate Signature series (a bit bulky but since the 9700 is a bit weeny it's fine); and Seidio. Latter has not scratched my phone yet. I was hoping Seidio could stay on when in dock (it has openings @ each side when the contacts are), but alas, no.

Can anyone recommend a case that allows the 9700 to fit into the Blackberry OEM desk charging cradle without taking it out of the case?
