Hey everyone. I am trying to decide between these two cases.

    The SPE side pouch

    and the seidio holster
    https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=eX8bnD9V

I don't see a whole heck of alot of posts about either. Just looking for some input. I would appreciate anyone who has used either to chime in.

MY USES. It will come in and out of its case between 40 to 60 times a day.
I work in an office so it does not need to be rugged, I am a professional and it needs to look as such. Thanks everyone.

Have you looked at the RIM holsters? IMO they look really good and professional not to mention they have sleep magnets in them to sleep the phone when put in the holster. I have one, and I am a professional.

with useage like that i would recommend the SPE Side Pouch, i use mine about the same and i know i quickly got sick of the side holster, it is a pain with the spring and all.

    thats just my $.02 atleast.

I have always preferred a case/pouch rather than a open holster.
I like the phone to be covered completely. I really like this one -

    (and it's even less expensive)

    Chaz and Mstorar,

I had read in the forums that the blackberry case had a propensity for the clip to break? Have either of you noticed this? I do like the look of the BB case and if I recall correctly it has a nice soft liner as well.

I would like to thank the three of you for the quick, helpful responses.

My first one did snap off, but it was simply a matter of me not paying attention getting into the car. I've had my second one for a few months now, and no issues.

i had one of the OEM bb cases when i had my 8830WE and i never broke it in the 9 months i used it, as long as you pay attention and dont do something out of this world to it, it will hold up nicely!

They can break just as easy or just as hard as any case with a swivel clip however since you stated you would be in an office most of the time, and your a professional I would say the RIM case is your best bet.....I did have one break on me, but it was my fault not the cases. The one I have now is holding great...I've had it for a month or so

Now say if you were a mechanic or construction worker....that case doesn't have a chance....but then again if you were one of those i'd recommend the otterbox.

I have this one and would recommend it.

I tried the RIM version of the open snap in holster (like the one is the first post) for the pearl I had. Dirt got trapped in between the back of the phone and the holster and scratched and gouged the crap out of the phone.

The above pouch is awesome though.

Stay away from the Seidio holster. The pin comes out and the clip and holster seperate. Seidio won't stand behind their products.

I have the seidio holster, its great to me. I like the simple design, and it has been solid so far. If it breaks, i will take it back and get another one. Please dont flame me, i always go for the best deal..
Look at the Verizon website, they sell it for $19.99, its the real Seidio holster.
