There is a serial number on the back of my storm 2 9550 in the form AAA-11111-111, anyone know what its for and what we do with it? thanks
Picture please. There are several sets of numbers found on 3 stickers under the battery for example.....
If you are talking about the smaller square one in the upper left corner I believe that one to be the manufacturing information for only the Mother Board not the phone itself. The Mother Board assembly would be that silver panel and the circuit board attached to it on the other side. Notice on mine the last numbers are CDMA that would suggest its made for Verizons type of service. I'm sure its there so assemblers can also further verify the right board is going in the right carriers phone once on the assembly line.
oh, and its the number that starts with ASY (btw, my blackberry is new)
Are you talking about the battery door? There is a number on the inside of the door but the outside should say nothing and just have Verizons name printed on it at the bottom. Do you still have the protective paper on it maybe? That bar code sticker will come off when the plastic wrap is removed.
Oy... Is this the sticker and number you are talking about on the battery door? If so just peel the whole thing off. That is just there for the factory's use and the plastic coating is meant to be removed by the owner.
