Price is kinda steep for such a skimpy product. It doesn't even protect your phone.

Careful if anyone decides to make a purchase...
I have been trough two different Seidio Innocase Surface 2 cases. Both cases cracked on the right-hand side of the case right under the right convenience key. After the first crack (happened on day 3 of using the case) Seidio RMA decided that I qualified for a free replacement since my case was "defective." Ive been using the replacement case for a bit under 3 months now and two days ago noticed the case is cracking in the same exact place as the first one did. This time, a replacement is not in order, says Seidio. I am positive this crack issue is due to a weakness in where the product comes together there as you can see a "line" where the product was molded out of plastic.
I absolutely love the case but hate that its always breaking along that stupid seam rendering the case completely useless.
I think I'll stick with otterbox, proven quality, appreciate the heads up though as I was debating ordering it
Tempted to get an otterbox commuter and remove some of the padding on the back to fit the 2600mah battery...
Need to find a cheap commuter first though...
Really like my Otterbox on the trail...just a tad bulky for every day use, imo.
Have you looked @ the impact at all?
Which case do you have?
I had pretty much the same issues as d5115r with my Innocase Surface II case on the Tour. (Two cracks in 5 months...luckily, they gave me a free replacement both times, so I'm using it on my 9650, knowing that it will probably crack again.)
Just FYI, though...it looks like the new Innocase Surface case for the 9650 is of the "older" Surface design (notice no "II"). The Surface II design was a 2-piece top-to-bottom attachment where the two pieces come together along the line just below the screen. The original Surface design is the one I had on my Curve, where the 2 pieces attach in a front-to-back manner (i.e., they come together along the top, bottom, and side edges of the phone).
I believe the original Surface was a stronger design, and even though I dropped my Curve a couple of times while in that case on hard tile, it never cracked and protected the Curve from any damage. The only complaint I had with that original Surface design was it was a major PITA to open it up. It's better than having a cracked case though.
Hope this helps.
I had the impact on my 8530. But I wouldn't want to mod the impact because there's nothing behind the rubber, so if i shave part of the backing off to make it fit the extended battery, there's nothing additional to support it...
Defender...great case!
Epik Pro case > Seidio cases
Otter box defender with 2600 battery, just don't use the extended door. Works great. The back of the case is the new back door

Yeah considered that also. Only downside is if you decide to use it without the case at any point for some reason.
Lol well I did keep the extended door. Was just very happy I could still use the defender

I talked in great detail about this in an earlier thread and your wrong,
it was great for the curve but the side layout on the tour and bold make the
joints so weak its a joke. After pulling it apart about 5 time its toast.
I recognize half of you on that earlier thread a few day ago and no one seemed to pay attention.. so i hope you buy it so we can hear you comlain about it in a new thread. You guys are exhausting, i'm just trying to help but its useless
Has anyone had such luck using this with the Commuter?
Love the Commuter. One of best case designs in a while.
It's $21 with free shipping at Newegg right now.....I just ordered yesterday.
Hello All!
Thank you for your comments! Just to clarify, this is the Innocase Surface and has been custom made for the Bold 9650. It should not have any of the issue that you are guys are describing with the Innocase II Surface.
Regards,
Yeah think I might just go for it.
Just ordered Seidio Innocase Combo.
Will post evaluation when I get it.
QFTMFT.
Better price, and doesn't have that issue of cracking. I've dropped my phone many times and the phone itself still looks brand new. Granted the case is busted up, but isn't that the point of having a case on there?
I could always get another case for $5 if the case scratches were to become an issue.
