Sorry if this has already been covered. I have downloaded ringtones from Crackberry but they are too quiet. Yes, my phone's volumn is all the way up. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have a Pearl 8130. Thanks!

So is it only those ringtones or are all your ringtones sounding low now?

I'm afraid that they are just that low then.

What I do with ringtones is I make my own with a free music editor called
Audacity. I can cut songs to the specific part that I'd like and even increase
    the volume.

I don't know if the ringtones you downloaded from Crackberry could be
dropped and dragged using mass storage mode onto your PC. If they can then
you can use Audacity to increase their volume and just drag the newer
    versions back.

I'll try that, thanks! I was just wondering if this was a common problem with the ringtones on this site.

That's odd, I haven't had that problem. I've only downloaded a few songs from Crackberry, and they ring at whatever volume level the profile I'm using is set for. Have you checked the volume level for ringing on the profile your using?

In Audacity, use the Gain control to increase the volume. Don't increase the gain too much though, or you introduce distortion.

Myxertones rocks! It's free, you can adjust the volume, and you can pick which part of the song you want to use as the ringtone. Love it!

Audacity can do everything Myxertones does, and then some... It is free as well.
