Can someone load a good version of Take This Job and Shove It. I am really hating my job and the mirco-manager.

Best way to make ringtones in a hurry? Youtube video, enable stereo mix on your audio hardware input, record a clip, edit to suit your needs, save as MP3 in a decent sound editor, bam, good enough for your phone, but not for concert play.

Of course, this isn't strictly legal, but whatever, not like you're making money off of it.

"Ooh lah lah! I would pay many a Franc, err, I mean, many a Euro for a ringtone zuch as heez! Take zees job and shove it indeed!"

*Laughing like Santa or a Frenchman is censored?

*BTW, stereo mix tells your computer that the audio going to your speakers is also coming into your mic/line in jack. Like a loopback, but in software. Any sound recording program will record whatever's playing through your speakers.

i would just say download the song you want and find a free mp3 program to cut a select 30 second clip from it. then load it to your phone as your own home made ringtone.

I use http://www.phonezoo.com/home.do. I take my mp3s and upload them to Phonezoo, and then I get an SMS with a link containing my ringtone.

From this forum I learned about Goldwave. Tons of features and can seem a little intimidating at first, but rather easy once you get the hang of it. Free trial that never seems to end..........

Thanks for this tip...I downloaded it and got it figured out. The unfortunate part is that now my wife will be bugging me for ringtones.
