Newb here. I have a BB World Edition. I noticed that the Ringtones I get here sound great when I go through "MEDIA" and play them, but when I set them as a ringtone...not so much

Any way to fix that ? I have been using a stock one called "Calypso" but it's quality is that of any other one I've downloaded and played via MEDIA player on the phone... but no comparison when the same mp3 gets set to a ringtone

bump looking for help... Can't seem to figure this out. Playing the same file through the media player, nice and loud. Set it as a ringtone..not so much... HELP?

i assume youve tried simply setting the ringer to a higher volume through sound profiles?

Start reading this thread, and follow the instructions carefully. This WILL fix the issue that you are having. I had an 8830, and did this, and it worked.
