I need a new one for my 8330 Curve. Where do you guys go to get one, besides the Verizon/AT&T stores? Verizon sells a replacement battery for $40and on Crackberry's store they go for $20. I searched google and yahoo online stores and some are going for as cheap as $3. But a lot of the ones pictured have a different color scheme than what came with my phone. So I'm suspecting they might be fakes.

I got mine from Amazon for less than $5 bucks. I think it was $2.84 actually... It was OEM, brand new, and it did have the same color scheme as the one that came with my Curve.

I love my bb too much to go online n spend 3 or 4 bucks (sounds good though) but you don't know the quality of the battery. I'll wait n spend the 40 bucks and get a GREAT BATTERY that will "pay" for itself in the long run

Is there any definite way to spot a fake?

Also what is the OEM mA for the standard battery? 900mAh or 1000mAh?

Also I noted some kind of SKU number on the back of my battery.

I've seen some online places carry slightly different SKU numbers: BAT-06860-001/002/003

What is the difference between SKU numbers? Also is one better than the other?
