I had silicon cases for so long but hated the fact that lint gets on them so bad. I prefer the harder cases whether its a snap on, hard rubber, resin........
I got two oem skin cases and they are no good. They don't fit snugly enough and the black one constantly picks up lint. I am getting the otterbox commuter and impact instead. The commuter is a combo of skin and hard case but the pics and reviews don't look like it is nearly as bulky as the defender I had for my old curve.
I am currently sporting the innocase 360 and am loving it. Had it for my 9000 and loved it so went on to get one for the 9700. Ps....I don't care what others might say, it does not make the device "ugly" or cover it's beauty. Just my two pennies!
Looks nice. Seems like you give up some protection for looks. Does the phone with this Case Mater 9700 Barely There case fit into the 9700 oem leather holster?
Also, are the speakers in the back of the 9700 blocked? Do you still get good sound???

It does fit into the OEM holster but it's a tight fit. The speaker is blocked but it's not very noticeable unless you're comparing it with and without the case back to back.
I hear good things about the Seidio Snap case. It's a little less coverage than the Innocase II (which has been a favorite of mine in the past.) seidioonline.com
