    I'm considering re-housing my BB Curve 8520 since the edges seem to be loose around the screen. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and could tell me if this is safe to do and how badly I might screw up my berry? I'm scared to crack it open but I found a really nice house on e-bay for cheap, but I'd like a little advice before I proceed. Thanks a bunch!!

    Really easy to do, heres a video tutorial on how to disassemble your blackberry 8520:



    I'd invest in the little tool also, as it makes it a lot easier and safer for taking apart your phone... very inexpensive investment btw. you can find one here:

    i just replaced my trackpad, lens cover, and front housing on my berry and it was very easy..took me about 10 minutes. Just follow the tutorial and you should be good...

    You can change the trackball with a trackpad ?
    This is news to me...Can you point me to a link where someone has managed to do this. I want to do the same on my 8900 too
