Actually now that I think about it, the icon for mine is a little cassette tape.

I don't know for a fact it shows on every theme but all the ones I've used, it works fine.

Thanks for the quick responses. Which leads me to my last question, does the Foppa Storm theme have an icon for missed voicemails?

When I receive a VM I do not see an envelope, but rather a o-o symbol up top.

I see the envelope when I receive a text or email message.

The reason why I ask is because I downloaded the Pocketday trial, and that app is unable to show missed voicemails, but it can show everything else.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a missed voicemail, but PocketDay definitely shows missed calls.

Here's where I'm at with the new concept. Comments appreciated.

Made the top banner icons smaller (50x50 pixels), but this means icons in a hidden dock would be smaller as well. Full sized, permanent dock right now. Might work if all were 60x60.

Can't have permanent text below top banner icons if they're resized. Composer doesn't allow. Could if they were back to 80x80.

Can't stand having to find a place for GPS location on, so I put it above the network and put a custom signal meter below the notifcations. Looks OK I think.

Buttons all across the top banner: App, App, Connections, Calendar, Messages.

Might decide to make the banners a little less translucent.

Still more churning to do.

Nice job Foppa. Looks good. I would make the icons at the bottom smaller, maybe 60 x 60 without the hidden dock or maybe have 2 versions. Also make the top bar more trasnparent if possible (not as dark). Just my 2 cents

Thanks for all the feedback. Can't please everyone, but here's what I ended up with. Foppa14 and Foppa15 are available here. Both have custom and precision icon verison, and with and without today versions. I did not do a hidden dock this time around. Maybe Foppa 16...

It's not BS in my opinion, I only noticed it because I run so many different themes, the ones with hidden todays and hidden docks use more battery and memory, MeterBerry has verified it for me many times. You can test it out yourself, switch to a theme that has a hidden dock/today before you go to bed. Run it for a day and see what your battery/memory is at. Now do the same thing with the non-hidden/today, you will see a difference...

yea, i believe it cuz i've noticed some performance and battery differences when not using the today version in themes. i'll check it out with meterberry as well. good idea.
