Had no issues...Just bought a clear plastic case from Speck. (meant for a 9630, but still the same) If i put the phone in my pocket for a few minutes, it automatically "keyboard locks" and I'm prompted to unlock. OK, no biggie...but then, only my top row of icons are accessible. When I hit the BB key to expand my home screen, the icons appear, but the trackpad won't move. If i take it out of the clear case, they work! What gives??? Anyone?
The speck cases causes the lock up due to the right convenience key being partially depressed. Cut out that section with a scalpel I know you have access and all should be well. I had the same issue with the smoked case.

Yup, I had the same issue with using the Tour's Otterbox Commuter with the Bold. It did not require surgery by an RN or otherwise but did require careful placement of the case over that right convenience key. (The tour case did require surgery for the usb plug.)
