I have to say the 9930 is thin and light. A little too thin and light for my tastes. I tried a couple of "soft" cases, which appeared to offer no protection from dropping, maybe from scratches, but little else. Now I have the Otterbox Impact case. This a decent soft case. Good grip, thick material, at least give the impression of absorbing the blow from a drop. Also it provides the additional heft that I miss from my 9650 with the extended battery.
I just HAD to tell someone.

I'm not a fan of soft cases, that's why I bumped up to the Commuter to get the plastic shell around the silicone.
