    A friend of mine also a chef had a airplane aluminum case over his black jack and his signal dropped fast....Does anyone here no if the otterbox affects the signal?

    My otterbox has never caused me to lose any signal. I have had nothing but good things to say about my otterbox except for the obvious problems lol!

    Can be hard to hear on a call in a crowded place.....go figure the dang thing has so much protection.

    And I am not a huge fan of the plastic cover that covers the screen. Can make typing hard.


    Overall its a great case.

    Also, they are making some changes and will be coming out with a revision shortly !

    Metal cases yes but the Otterbox is plastic. No difference in signal strength with the OB.
