I just ordered an otter box for my bold 9700 and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it will still fit around a seidio extended battery. That battery states it adds 3 to 4mm to your device. I was just wondering if it will work together.

Not sure, I haven't tested that yet. I do know I'm waiting for an extended battery from ebay to arrive in the mail.

It won't. The otterbox is made to fit around the OEM or the seidio slim battery. But not the extended that adds the extra back to it.

According to some users, it does work. They leave the battery door off. And some have mentioned modification of the Otterbox, but I'm not sure what that entails.
