    Mine will arrive Dec. 2...

So, how does it fit the 9700? Does it add any significant bulk & weight? I know the Defender Series does, since I'm using it on my 8820. But I chose this one for my 9700 since it looks very stylish & still offering the best protection without that bulk.

Looks nice, doesn't look too bulky as i thought the OTTER BOX ones are usually.

Do you see that the soft rubber portion sort of gets caught when you are putting it in and taking it out of your pocket? Like it's sticky?
I like the grip factor in the soft rubber cases, but dislike this when trying to get it in or out of my pocket in a hurry.

I never use a clip so its fine for me but it is odd that there is no provision for one at least. I suppose you could use a stick on type.

Yes the Otterbox site. I paid $34 but some people paid $8 less with a coupon code I didn't hear of that until it was to late.

Just got mine also. Nice fit and protection. Makes the phone feel more solid. Good quality. All of the vital areas and ports are covered. This case adds just a little bit of size and grip to the 9700. This is a good thing for those that feel the 9700 is too small. Will report how it works in the next few days. Very Satisfied right now. Got it for $32.71 shipped w/ discount code they offered last week.

Out of curiosity, did you get a tracking number for yours right away, or even an email confirmation? I have received nothing, except the confirmation page at the end of the transaction.

I tried calling their tollfree, however, it seems to not be working??

1.888.695.8820 is the one listed on Otterbox main page. Should I be looking elsewhere?

    Cheers

i got mine friday. overall its really nice, the only problem i have is the sides that arent covered by plastic move around a bit. also the charger/headphone port were kinda tricky to get to stay in all the time.

Just got my commuter case and it fits perfect! The 9700 was a bit small to handle but with the new commuter case it's about the same size as my old Curve 8310.

The Impact case is just a "beef" up silicone case while the Commuter you get a the silicone case and plastic shell. I would get the Commuter for a few $$$ more. It'll be the same size as the Curve.

The only problem I have with the Commuter are the flaps protecting the charge and earphone ports. I think it's being held in place by "Magic"

Maybe the impact case would be a better replacement?

I got my commuter case for the 9700 and it is great! I agree that it adds the right amount of bulk so that it fits better in my hand. I got mine new from amazon for 21.99 and a few dollars for shipping. Transaction went smooth and shipping was fast. I still have to find my 9000 holster to see if it will fit.

I just got one for my Tour (Early Christmas Present! ) It looks and works great. Although it is a bit tedious to keep plugged up when charging. I think I'll take some advise I found in the CB store and shave some off the end of my charger to make it fit better. Still a great buy though.

I am debating between the commuter and the impact and my main issue is having it slide around when i put it on the car seat or even have it slip out of my hand. Does that pose a problem with the commuter because of the fact the back of it is made of smooth plastic or something like that

was looking at this for the Tour or the Case Mate Hybrid. for those that have the commutter case, is it easy to take on and off? i like to take my phone out of the case at night for the desktop charger.

I'm doing that routine every night with no problems.

When taking the shell and rubber case off, I start from the bottom. Reverse when putting it on.
