Did anyone else order this case for the 9650 when they ordered the phone online? They sent me a body glove for the 9630 and I know that the charging port is in a different spot.

I was wondering if anyone else got the 9630 case or did they maybe just make a mistake with my order. If there is one that's 9650 specific I'd just return it in-store and exchange it.

I have yet to find anything specifically for the 9650. Maybe just return it until the true stuff comes out.

Ouch - I just ordered the 9630 Body Glove off the Bay for $10 delivered...I could swear I read on here the phones had the same cases.

The charging port is JUST off on the 9650 compared to the 9630, so the cases will fit, but wont allow for proper charging.

Just ANOTHER great way to make us buy new accy's

get the otterbox commuter case for the 9650. otterbox makes the best casessss.. otterbox.com. check it out

Otterbox is always a huge win in my books. I am personally just waiting to see if they release any colored ones for this device. I hope that they do, because Ill jump all over that!

I also love otterbox and will most likely pick one up. Looks like they are available already.

The BG was pretty much an impulse buy alongside the phone.

I ordered my otterbox commuter the other day for my 9650 and made sure it is device specific for that phone.
It isn't scheduled to arrive untill this Wednesday so I have to be patient.

Why is it then on this site (and most sites) the Body Glove case is advertised as fitting both the 9630 and 9650 if it won't charge with the 9650???

Don't think I can...but my point is how can all these sites say the 9630 and 9650 cases are compatible if they are not?

Because it the same size. The buttons are all on the same sides. The charging port on the 9650 has moved just a fraction.

Ok one problem solved another popped up.

The move of the charging port does not affect this case. The opening is big enough to support the placement change.

New problem.

The clips to close do not seem to line up. I've been trying for 20 minutes to snap the case closed, but I don't want to force it too much because I don't want to break the clips just in case I have to return it.

I ordered mine with the $15 silicone cover that popped up at the end of the verizon order process. It fits very nicely and everything matches up. I would highly recommend it.

Well to me if the charging port does not line up (as many are saying) it does not make the case compatible at all - who wants to take the case off every time you need to charge it? I would think compatible doesn't just mean it can close. Very decieving advertising.

I agree. If you look 9650 accessories it is still called the tour2. The manufacturers may have not gotten the memo. The phone has technically only been out a few weeks.

I went to the mall today and saw a stand with the Body Glove 9630 case and I asked to see if it fit my 9650. Fit like a glove (no pun intended). As far as the charging port, the entire side is open for all the bottons/ports so how could people say it does not fit the charging port? Am I looking at a different Body Glove case? It said 9630 on it...are there more than one for the 9630??

The case I ordered just came in today - snap on Body Glove case for the Tour 9630 - it fits the 9650 perfect with all ports/buttons fine. Best $10 I ever spent.

Thats funny cause I am using my 9630 otterbox commuter case with my 9650. It fits with no issue. I read all about that the charger had changed location but when I received my Bold the first thing I did was see if the case fit and it did. Don't ask me how, I'm not complaining.
