Been looking and looking for the case Kevin had with his review. No wonder I can't buy it, it's not available yet.
But here she is, sign up to be notified when its ready.
It's funny, you can't even select the torch as a device, but this clearly says torch 9800.

    That is nice looking.

I put mine in my 9700 case last night for a minute and it fit just fine but seems as though it didn't hibernate the phone when in the case.

I'm using my 9700 case as well, I just hit the lock key on top whenever I place it in there.

yeah, a lot of people are using the 9700. but i don't have one the 9000 was bigger, and it also doesn't put it in sleep mode.
i probably make do what with what i have, i don't like the off branded ones, so i'll wait. the otterbox lasted 2 minutes on my phone.

alteast when it's available on here, CB may get it shortly after with realistic pricing.

nice little case, reminds me of the 9000 backing. having said that, i wish the 9800 had the same backing as the 9000 :P

if you're talking leather, i'm sure something aftermarket will come out.

My 9000 case puts it into sleep mode. I put the screen facing in. and once I close the flap it goes into sleep mode.

My 9000 holster does, too. Also, the fit is more secure than the OEM 9000 leather pocket -- which doesn't put the 9800 to sleep. So the 9000 holster is good enough for the odd times I use a holster. Need a leather pocket, though.

the oem 9000 case doesn't work.
I called this company, and they said mid September for the case to be out. Does this mean that rim really pushed the date forward so much the case didn't make it in time, thus not included with the phone this go around?

try putting the phone in with the screen facing in.. I read in another thread that they used their 9700 case but had to flip the phone...

    worth a try...
