There are car and wall chargers on Ebay with Blackberry written on them and advertised as OEM, but quite inexpensive. Does anyone know if these are real, or counterfeit? I've read some of the posts about non BB chargers. I do know that "real" chargers have some sort of mechanism to prevent overcharging, while cheap chargers often don't, and they wear the battery down much faster that way. Thoughts or info on this? thanks.
First of all, I always use PayPal with the credit card option to pay for my stuff on eBay. It offers you the protection of a credit card and I[ve had to use it a few times (not in the case of car chargers). I've purchased may a car charger from eBay and I've always received what I ordered. I always stick to the OEM and it's worked forme. A lot of them are listed as "OEM type" or "OEM replacements". Those I stay away from. Hope this helps.
