So I've been browsing the ringtones that people have uploaded in this section. Do most of you download the ringtone straight to your phone, or do you save it to your computer first?

    1) How can I (if possible) download the uploaded ringtone right to my phone

    2) What program/how do you send the ringtone saved on your computer to your phone?

    TIA

EDIT: And how can you upload made ringtone to share with others?

The easist way is to download the attachment or have the file sent to an email and if you have a memory card, just save the files there, then use them as you wish through sound profiles

I tried to email one earlier today from this site but when I opened the message and clicked on the download link, nothing happened. It said the link didn't work or was incomplete, something like that.

If you are using windows XP or Vista make your ringtone with some type of ringtone maker. You can find tons of them if you google them. Once you have made your ringtone convert the ringtone to a zip file. Start a new thread click the paper clip icon find your zip ringtone and upload it to the forums.

Thanks! Do you use any specific program? I used to use tonethis (a free software download) but it will not work for my blackberry .. Ive tried a few of the online "create your own ringtone" site but a lot of them take a LONG time to actually receive the ringtone

I use pc software to edit my ringtones. I use my data cable to upload the ringtone. I use goldwave to edit my music.

If you are running windows XP or Vistia you move the mouse pointer over the mp3 file. Right click the mouse. You will see a pop window come up. Move the mouse to send to and you see another pop up window come up. Click on Compressed Zip folder.
