    I used to always sync my old 8703 with the USB and now that I have gotten the new 8330 charged and set up I can't get it to detect my BB.

    Is there something that I am missing?

    On a Mac or PC? Do you have Mass Storage enabled?

    I do not have mass storage enabled and it is a PC running XP professional

    I switched to mass storage mode and the computer recognized it, but the DM is still not detecting it.


    This is not good, I have got to sync up my Outlook with the BB.

    I would try removing DM and installing it again. Worked for me when I swapped my 8830 for my 8330.

    Great advice, I looked at the USB controller and the driver is corrupted. I will uninstall and reinstall to see.
