So I am in need of some help.

My BB is always protected in some way all the time.

When I am out of the house, whether it be at work, shopping, or w/e I always use the OEM Blackberry Vertical Holster: https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=6OpjWi1G

When I am at home I always slide it into the OEM Blackberry Gel Skin: https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=muW0qFmq

My problem comes that I feel like my phone is massive when it's in the skin at home. I hate my phone to be naked so when it's home its in its skin. I am looking for a VERY VERY thin skin/case for it, enough to give it the protection it needs but at the same time, do so without making the phone feel like a Bold(Sorry cheap shot there lol).

I am stuck between 2 cases

    Case-Mate Barely There: https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=PhkLCVMA

    and

Incipio Ultra Light Feather Case: https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=WHDNgOMv

I like the idea and look of the Incipio more but I know how great the quality of the Case-Mate cases are. I just need help deciding which case will fit my need for a ultra thin condom.

    Please help

    Thanks

INCIPIO!!!! I liked it so much that I bought 2! Its as if my phone is protected but still shows off its meaness! I bought the first from incipio and the second off ebay for 16 and it was here in 2 days! It comes with a screen protector and cloth to wipe your phone off! I have red and black and am about to maybe order the blue.

Have you considered Invisible Shield full body? I use it and it covers my entire phone. You can also use it along with a case when you're out & about as it doesn't add any bulk to the phone.

I have a BSE skin on my phone but don't like the feel of it and I want something to go over that, maybe take it off

Gotcha - I know you want an informed opinion (and I have never used either case) but I just took a look at your options and aesthetically speaking I would go with Incipio. In fact I may go pick one up myself tomorrow. If I can find it I'll post back here in a couple of days and let you know about the fit and feel.

I have an Incipio case for my iPod, and I love it. Its black, and it doesn't really have too much lint on it. I rarely have issues taking it out of my pocket when I'm standing up. However, if I'm sitting down, I have to move around to get it out of my pocket. It has a great feel to it too, I never feel like its going to just drop out of my hands.

I was going to get the DermaShot case for the 8900 when I get one. I don't like how the feather doesn't protect the bottom portion phone. I think the dermashot is a little thicker too, which will help absorb some shock when I drop the phone (it's bound to happen, I'm a klutz xD).

    Dermashot:

How is the Incipio any different than a gel skin, other than it's about $15 more expensive?

The Incipio is great but it's difficult to take on&off for battery pulls.

I've read that other silicone skins collect lint like crazy, and build up a static charge which makes it stick to clothing, making it difficult to remove from pockets or whatever.

The Incipio skin I own doesn't give me any of those problems. Other than that, I guess you are just buying the name. I'm pretty certain Incipio products come with a lifetime warranty, so if the skin cracks you can get a new one.

I've seen the cases on Amazon for about $11. Its about the same price as other cases I've seen.
