my berry can only stay on when usb cable connected, if usb cable remove red light blinks and hourglass appears over and over again only stops if usb cable re-connected. I tried to upgrade to v4.5 but it won't finish the upgrading process so I updated back to its original software version v4.2.0.73 cingular but same problem exist. Am I using correct battery "C-M2" or is it somwthing else?
Did you have this problem before you attempted to upgrade to 4.5? A failed OS upgrade can cause odd problems. If the problem existed before the upgrade attempt, then that eliminates that cause. Does your phone stay on when you are plugged in to a wall charger? If so, it is possible you have a bad battery.
