I know this is the wrong place, yes I'm breaking a rule... I can't get a frakking answer anywhere else. so here goes.

I've followed the instructions on the ultimate HQ guide above, I've asked this question and never received and answer. Everytime I make a video using handbrake and the steps in the guide I end up with a video that is anywhere from 50 to 300 megs bigger than the source. Which is funny because it has not only a smaller resolution but a bitrate of only 800.

any idea why the videos are coming out bigger than they should? or any better guides I can find anywhere?
