i recently purchased a 2g microsd and i cant get my 8800 or my buddies 8100 to recognize its there and use it i know my phone knows its in there but wont format on the phones or on windows please help

i cant post links yet but its the only PNY 2g from walmart

Never delt with PNY but I do know that kingston and sandisk are the 2 most reliable cards to use with phones that will recognize all the time. I'll google this problem.

PNY is also a very reliable brand.

I don't know why your PC can't format the card, but on your phone
go to options > media card and set:

Media Card Support = ON
Mass Storage Mode Support = ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage... = YES
Press menu button > save

Go back into Media Card from the Options Menu and try to
format the card again.

ive tried to format it multiple time and i already have my setting as u said i know that much i have had plenty of memory cards before but i tend to lose them and this is what i got from someone so... im kinda stuck with it for now
