Okay so I have a mini sd card in my phone....it will not format I've went into Options...Media Card and format but it just freezes up my phone...I plug it into the computer and I go to format and it still doesn't do anything....what's the problem?
I would also say a defective card. If it was just happening while the card was in your phone is one thing but since it is messing up and not doing what it is supposed to in the computer, the card sounds messed up.
I'm having a similar problem. My micro SD was working just fine until earlier today, when the music just stopped on my phone, then it told me that the card wasn't formatted, but wouldn't do the formatting itself. I plugged it into my computer, but it doesn't have the right options for formatting it (the only option is the FAT 32 filing system, when from what I understand, I need to use the FAT 16 system). At this point, my phone doesn't even recognize that I've inserted a media card. Any ideas?
