Anyone having a problem with the phone locking when in holster? I have the setting right but it doesnt lock when I put it in the OEM holster. Even when I pass the flap magnet all over the phone nothing locks. Any ideas?

Are you talking about keyboard lock or password lock, those are two different things...

Options-Password-lock handheld upon holstering-yes

But it doesnt lock when I put it in the supplied holster.

*** Nevermind I got it. When I take it out of the holster I do not have to manually unlock it like I had to with my old 8330.

On my Pearl I always locked my keyboard when my phone was in my pocket or on the table (so kids couldn't dial). I can lock my 9650 by pressing the A* key but pressing the same key doesn't unlock. I've locked it 2 times now and have had to pull the battery both times to unlock the keypad.

Anyone experiencing this issue?

The later OS5 revisions changed the way the lock works. A* does a keyboard lock and you have to hit the unlock key to unlock it (on top of the device).

Basically it started with the 8530's 5.0.0.459 if I remember correctly.

So which key unlocks the keypad on the 9650? According to the 9650 manual the A* key performs both functions.
