Is there any leather case that is better for the blackberry than another? I'm worried about using any old case becasue I dont want to mess up my trackball.

I use the OEM leather pouch. That seems not to trouble the trackball on my 9000.

I used the pouch also when I had my 8900. That way I could just put it in my pocket and go.

I'm a huge fan of the Bellagio Leather Cases. They are the best of all the different leather cases I have seen. As always, the best costs a little more, but in this case (pun intended) it is certainly worth it.

I tried many pouches, the OEM leather slip pouch that came with the 8900 is the best so far.
