    I'm in search of good basic "beep" message alert tones. I don't care for the default tones so much, and would love some short tones of decent volume to use for email, sms etc. Just basic tones (I actually like the default tones on the HTC touch) that are short and sweet and not annoying. Anyone have anything good? Thanks much.

    This is great stuff! Would you by any chance have the "BEEP BEEP BEEP" sound clip from the Verizonwireless phones? I believe it was a popular choice for the text messaging alerts.

    Zedge.net has quite a few. You can find almost anything you want, many categories available, you can preview and download OTA.

    Oringz.com is another great free option - check their 'business' tag.
    You can preview and download without any restriction.

    Ya +1 for them. I have got allot of tones for my SMS, email and other things from there and they are good for the office environment.
