I'm in the market to get an invisibleshield screen protector for my 8330, and someone over at HoFo had posted that they emailed the company and received word back that the screen protector for the 8320 is compatible with the 8330...

With the obvious screen differences and LED light placement, I feel like this may be an uninformed customer service person.. Does anyone have the screen protector for the 8320? If so, does it extend to the top of the phone where the LED indicator is?

Would just like to know before I spend money on it.. Thanks!

That doesn't make any sense to me. The 8330 is just the CDMA version of the 8310. 8310, 8320, and 8330 should all have the same dimension.

Well someone already purchased the invisibleshield for the 8100 for the 8330, and it didn't fit exactly because if you look at the models, the LED indicator light as well as the part around the earpiece are different... so that's why i'm asking, as the cutouts didn't line up perfectly.. I'm wondering if it's different for the invisibleshield for the 8320..

yes that is a differnce between 8100 series and 8300 series. Small size differnce between them but just enough. all of the 8300s should fit the same cases and such.

The 8100 is not part of the 83xx series I don't think.
If it is 8300 8310 8320 8330 then I think it will fit.

i think they are a tiny bit different, with the size and placement of the LED.

But, i believe the screen is the same.

On my 8320, i cut the top 1/4" off, so that it was just a screen protector, nd i got the Best Skins Ever Home Page full body skin, just didn't feel like putting it all on.

the screen protector for my 8320 covers only the screen.. I would imagine it will be fine for the 8330 too.. I'm referring to JUST the screen. I have the BodyGuardz version..

I ordered the Best Skins Ever for the 8320 hoping it would fit the 8330. I emailed their customer service who said it is different and it wont fit right. They refunded my money and said that they will have the new one in this week or next.

I have the invisibleshield and it does NOT cover the LED. The screen portion covers from above the talk row buttons and to the bottom of the ear piece. I actually ordered the full body version and it still doesn't cover the LED.

If you look at the pics of the 8330 closely, you will see that the plastic "screen" extends farther up the phone, the LED opening is actually in the "screen" and there is barely any of the faceplate between the top of the "screen" and the top/midplate, where the standby button is.
Its physically the same size overall, but they modified the faceplate a little bit.


Heres the pic of the 8330 and 8310 next to each other, Notice the difference in size. LOLOL

Ok, seriously though...

notice the top near the LED, see how its actually in the screen, and not just in the faceplate? and notice where the screen ends. Although it will fit with a razor blade and some trimming, id recommend waiting till they make one, as i bet they already have an 8330, and are making the program for their vinyl cutter as we speak.
