the only way it will work is if you turn the face of the phone towards the clip..if you turn it to face "out" it doesnt...it must not be a very strong magnet...
I had the same concern... it took me a while to figure it out...i guess it allegedly protects the screen more that way as even if you bump the case against something hard its only the back of the phone not the screen...

p.s stuff the case with index cards cut a milimeter bigger than the phone and thick enough to swell the case...leave in oyur drawer for a couple of days...fits like a glove...a leather glove...thats been broken in...sweet.

DUH! I never tried it in that direction, but I guess I can get used to it. Thanks for the info...I am stretching as we speak and I know I will like it once I can get it in the case without pressing on the buttons!
