I bought two of these things for an upcoming trip to Disney World with the family. Didn't think my 9900 would make it through an entire day at the park, taking pictures and videos. While needing to keep in touch with the rest of the family at the park.

Tried one of them while I was at a trade show last week. Battery did not charge my 9900 or a coworkers 9800.

My 9900 charges while plugged into the wall. When I want to use the battery to charge my phone, it doesn't work at all. I have tried both cords and tips to see if they make a difference. I just plugged my 9900 in for 50 minutes and it went from 67% battery to 69% battery. That simply isn't going to cut it. While I could see getting one faulty unit. Getting two?

Has anyone had any success with an iGo charger with the battery for mobile charging with their BlackBerry?

I use my iGo over the last two years and it has been working with both 8310 and 9800 and 9810. The key is to make sure you have the right tip as that generates enough charge. For example my playbook doesn't charge using a tip but will work as if plugged into the mains.

My 9800/9810 uses the same A97 tip. What tip are you using? You might need to contact iGo and check with them.

The info on Amazon for this tip says it's for Motorola RAZR2, Q2 KRAZR2. Is this going to be a problem for my Torch 9800? Thanks!

Please disregard my previous post. I found the info to confirm on Amazon's iGo finder link.
