Hi

I'm not sure if this ringtone is specific to BlackBerry Bold or other phones, but I heard a colleague's BlackBerry SMS notification ringtone. He said it was called 'Soar' but having downloaded an mp3 file called BBRelaxed_Soar.mp3, I've found it wasn't quite the same thing (it's only 2 seconds - his clip was definitely longer)

It was a violin sound (I'm sure it is a default) with something like 11 distinctive notes.

I would be really grateful if anyone could help with the name of this sound.

I've gone to the dark side with a Moto Droid, but I've kept my Crackberry account on. So glad I did - I heard a coworker using this ringtone and *loved* it. A quick Google and wham - found this on Crackberry. Thanks!!
