I just bought a hard case for my 8310 off of ebay and i was wondering when i put the hard case on will I be able to put my bb inside the sleeper case it came with? will it fit? and are those hard cases any good?

I have the Speck hard case and with it on, it will not fit in the BB holster. It was a trade off for me to give up the sleeper mode but gain protection of the screen from the case.

I have the Seidio Rubberized Case and it is too tight for the OEM Leather Case. I did, however, buy the Seidio Rubberized Holster designed to fit a skinned case as part of the package, so that works great.

The speck case fits in the Seidio skinned holster perfectly, and that holstar has the sleeper function magnet built in.
