I don't know if this has been posted before, but I recently found by trial and error that you can re-size and move images for use as wallpaper.

For example, you have a photo taken in landscape orientation. This would normally show up scaled to fit for width, and centered vertically.

Go to Media, Pictures, All Pictures, and find the photo that you want to use as your wallpaper. Select that photo. Then zoom in as much as you'd like and drag the image around on the screen. Once you have it centered the way you'd like, THEN click the Blackberry button and select Set As Wallpaper.

Using this method you can make an image that is taken in portrait orientation to show up stretching over the entire screen from top to bottom and centered horizontally and vertically however you would like!

Hopefully this wasn't completely obvious and I just never noticed

Any thoughts on this? I figured more people would be interested.

Is this possible on other versions of the OS? Or on other BlackBerry's?

I just got a Tour and it doesn't seem to work on the leak of OS 5.0 that I have on it. I wish it would...

Very cool. Just ran into that, was going to edit it on my computer, but this saves the back and forth transfer. Nice!
