Hi everyone, I'm new and excuse if I'm doing something wrong in the post... never posted before but I have visited this site, but I can't seem to find this answer.

Just got a new 8530, and I have so many family pics that I would like to use as my wallpaper, but the default title bar with clock and all the info is covering it... I have tried to make the pics smaller but it doesn't work, all it gives me is option to zoom in, not out...

Please please help me remove that title bar from the middle, I checked the theme and there's no option to move it. The thema is called PRECISION ZEN.

You need a new theme...

First off, Welcome to CrackBerry!

You can't do anything about the banners and icons in the theme, BUT you can download new themes that will be more suited to you!

There are free and paid (premium) options. Some are OTA which means you can install it directly to your BB by clicking the link in the post. Others are zip files that need to be downloaded to your computer and installed via desktop manager. OTAs are obviously the easiest.

I like showing off my wallpaper as well and use a theme with a sliding dock. Take a look at DrEW 11 in the above referenced theme forum. Phishgirl has cool themes as well (props to the os6 theme she put above.) , and feel free to dl and try a few.... you might like more than one.

LOL ok, guys and ladies, thank you so much, I went to the sites that you posted I liked the one phishgirl put alot, I d/l the app to my laptop and tried to email it to myself and install it with that attachment on my bb didn't work it said it couldn't be d/l... please let me know what I'm doing wrong???

P.S. I just tried to look up DREW 11 and found some nice ones, but again same thing it says DOWNLOAD FAILED/INSTALL FAILED. Is that cause I have an 8530? is that why they're not working

Most of the themes that are on here are OTA (Over the air) like phishgirl explained. The links should be clicked right from your BlackBerry. that might be what you're doing wrong.

What your problem might be is you selected the one for 4.6 OS, your 8530 has a 5.0 OS, those are the ones that are compatible with your phone. All you need to do is find the 85XX themes and make sure you're choosing the 5.0 version of them.

I would like to thank all of you for the help, and Rides, that was exactly my problem I wasn't clicking them from my BB. It worked... thank you... P.S. and I hate it because before all your answers I spent 6.99 on a theme from crackberry shop and it wasn't good. but that's how you learn I guess.
