I was able to use the ringtone files from the 5.0.0.810 OS and now all my old favorites are back and work flawlessly with the new 6.0.0.222. You just have to go into the java folder and find the net_rim_bb_medialoader_480x360 from the old 5.0.0.810 os then drag it onto desktop then go to the 6.0.0.222 loader file open it and drag the ringtone file onto the java folder icon and it will ask if you want to replace click yes. Then I used the apploader to load it. Hope this helps. I hated the new tones they are awful!!!!

A million dollars and a cookie to the first kind soul that posts the .COD file. If that's even possible...? I really miss the old LightSpeed and Eager and Crystal tones.

Here you go, just unzip and put them on your memory card.
Can the file net_rim_bb_medialoader_ringtones_480x360_05_b.cod be renamed to install with OS6 so that I could have both OS6 and OS5 ringtones on my phone? The ringtone file for OS6 is the same name so it would overwrite unless the name was different.....
