Hey there,

Woke up this morning with a completely dead 9700, reason being, I plugged it into the charger I used to use with my 8900 thinking "hey, the ports the same...should work" - I was wrong. Guess there is a reason that you get a new one

Are they both micro usb? Not sure why it wouldn't work? My storm charger works on my 9700.

It's probably your charger that's no good buddy, cause I'm using my 8900 charger and all is good. I'm setting new personal records for talk and standby time.

The 8900 charger works fine on my bro's 9700 and my wife's 8520.

Maybe, I plugged it into my 9700 charger this morning and everything's fine...on a side note - this is one of the fastest charging phones I've ever had....- battery life to two bars worth in just under an hour...curious to see how long that'll last me
